أستاذ الصيدلة الصناعية عضو اللجنة العلمية
يرأس قسم الصيدلة الصناعية بكلية الصيدلة في جامعة طرابلس، ويعمل رئيساً مكلفاً للمشروع الوطني لعلوم وتقنيات النانو بهيئة أبحاث العلوم الطبيعية والتكنولوجيا في ليبيا.
حصل على بكالوريوس الصيدلة من جامعة طرابلس عام 1994، وعلى الدكتوراه في التكنولوجيا الحيوية النانوية الصيدلانية من جامعة نوتنغهام بالمملكة المتحدة عام 2005. وانضم إلى قسم الصيدلة الصناعية بجامعة طرابلس عام 2005، وشارك في تدريس التكنولوجيا الحيوية الصيدلانية والعمليات الوحدوية والتكنولوجيا الصيدلانية وهندسة المستحضرات الدوائية والصيدلة الصناعية.
أسس عام 2009 مجموعة BioNano Integration البحثية بمركز البحوث التقنية الحيوية في ليبيا. وتركز عمله على تحضير الجسيمات النانوية الذهبية والفضية وتوصيفها، ثم على تطوير تركيبات الرذاذ النانوي والمستحلبات النانوية والهلام النانوي باستخدام الزيوت والموارد الطبيعية لتطبيقات مستحضرات التجميل والعناية بالبشرة.
نشر وشارك في أكثر من 170 بحثاً، وحصل على الجائزة الفضية لعام 2016 من اتحاد مجالس البحث العلمي العربية ومعرض ماليزيا للتكنولوجيا (INATEX). ويورد الملف رابط ملفه على Google Scholar وتصنيفه في AD Scientific Index لعام 2026.
Prof. Nagib Ali Elmarzugi

He heads the Department of Industrial Pharmacy at the University of Tripoli and serves as acting head of the National Nanosciences & Nanotechnology Project at the Authority of Natural Science Research and Technology, Libya.
He earned a BSc in Pharmacy from Tripoli University in 1994 and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Bionanotechnology from the University of Nottingham, UK, in 2005. He joined the University of Tripoli in 2005, where his teaching has included pharmaceutical biotechnology, unit operations, pharmaceutical technology, drug formulation engineering and industrial pharmacy.
In 2009, he founded the BioNano Integration research group at Libya's Biotechnology Research Center. His work has included gold and silver nanoparticle preparation and characterization, and the development of nanospray, nanoemulsion and nanoemulgel formulations using natural oils and resources for cosmeceutical and skin-care applications.
He has published and participated in more than 170 publications and received the 2016 Silver Prize from the Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils and Malaysia Technology Expo (INATEX). The profile also links to his Google Scholar page and cites his AD Scientific Index ranking for 2026.
